I see the Obama for America campaign as an excellent opportunity to make a positive contribution to my community. Admittedly, when the Primary season began I thought Mrs. Clinton would be the Democratic nominee for President. However, the level of organization and consistency shone by the Obama Campaign won my support after Super Tuesday. I believe I can offer both the perspectives of a former Clinton supporter and the citizen of a Southern state. The image of my State projected by the media lacks any indication of depth. Although Arkansas is a traditionally "red" state, there is a strong Democratic presence in the youth vote that has been largely untapped by previous campaigns. With persistent effort this presence can be mobilized to 'Turn this Red State Blue'.
